Books to spice up your summer!
Berdorf Blondes by Plum Sykes...
An absolute must read, especially if you are still experiencing SATC withdrawls!
The story of a self-described "champagne bubble about town," twentysomething socialite whose life centers on tracking down Chanel sample sales and downing Bellinis with the group of friends she calls the Park Avenue Princesses. When she notices that getting engaged brings a glow to her friends' skin that even an alpha-beta peel can't replicate, she and her best friend embark on a roller-coaster-ride of a search for prospective husbands.
Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey...
Find out what men really think about love, relationships, intimacy, and commitment... from a man.
Harvey, always the comedian, breaks down all of the things that women need to know about men and relationships... from mama's boys and marriage to whether you are the "sports fish" (reel in and throw back into the water when they're done) or a "keeper." As well as, why the 90-day rule for sex makes sense, how independent women can remember to be ladies, the three things that drive men (who they are, what they do, and how much they make), and why "We need to talk" is a phrase that is man's worst enemy.
Secrets of Gorgeous by Esther Blum...
Hundreds of ways to live well while living it up... it is possible to have the cosmo and drink it too!
200 quick tips to show women how to eat and drink what they love yet maintain their youthful beauty. No diets, no gimmicks... just real solutions for gorgeous girls on the go. Secrets from how to nip a hangover in the bud, choosing the best dish on a date, to revving up the sex drive and much, much more.
My Horizontal Life by Chelsea Handler...
This collection of one-night stands is a s seriously hilarious beach read!
Whether or not you have had a one-night stand, you will be able to relate to the things that happen to her. Okay, maybe we haven't all dated a male stripper who's "every gay guy's fantasy" but we've all dated someone we sadly discovered is not so bright or who doesn't have a good grasp of our language. Even a nun would find this book amusing.

Welcome
Welcome Girls!
This site has been a long time coming! Years ago, when I was addicted to anything Jane Green, I thought it would be great to create a website for our girlfriends to use as a place to chat about our favorite books.
So... read, review, and recommend your favorite books... or martinis.
Make sure to become a member by following this blog and creating an ID. I strongly suggest using your "circle-name" and creating a profile, so we can easily identify each others remarks!
Have fun!!
